Introduction
Getting Twitch Affiliate status wasn't easy for me. Although I had all the required hours, the hardest part was achieving the average viewer count. Streaming all day, every day, with fewer than three viewers made it even more challenging to reach that crucial 3 viewer average per hour. Here, I'll share my journey and the strategies that helped me succeed.
The Challenge of Viewer Count
The key hurdle in my path to becoming a Twitch Affiliate was maintaining an average viewer count of three. I could spend hours streaming, but if my viewer count was low, it felt like I was just making it harder for myself. This experience taught me the importance of engaging content and community interaction.
Building a Community
Twitch is a very community-based platform. To overcome the viewer count challenge, I had to reach out and ask for help within the community. I joined various Twitch communities, participated in discussions, and supported other streamers. This not only helped me gain viewers but also made me a part of a supportive network.
Reaching Affiliate Status
When I finally reached the goal and got my Twitch Affiliate status, it was a moment of immense pride. But the journey didn't eand there. I realized the importance of giving back to the community that helped me. I now make it a point to help others who are also trying to achieve their Twitch Affiliate status.
Conclusion
Becoming a Twitch Affiliate is no small feat, especially when it comes to maintaining an average viewer count. However, by building a supportive community and engaging with fellow streamers, you can achieve this milestone. And remember, once you reach your goal, don't hesitate to help others in their journey. The Twitch community thrives on mutual support and encouragement.
